James and Sarah Hobson have been married for 10 years, they have three children, Isabella, Joaquin, and Ileana Hobson. They have a passion for the local church being rooted in and relevant to the culture around it. Pastor James has a background in multi-ethnic church planting and urban ministry. James authored the Urban Ministry Minor and Urban Ministry DMIN programs at Liberty University. Pastor James currently pastors Hill City Community Church, a multi-ethnic church he planted in 2016 in the heart of Lynchburg Virginia. Pastor James has been co-vocational for the majority of his pastoral ministry, and has a passion for pastors to hold both the responsibility to their Godly calling, as well as their calling to provide financially for their families.
